The orgin and meaning of the word health is holy or sacred. Our bodies were meant to be active, so try to remember as you look to be active that being healthy is a holy and sacred duty. Put the idea of exercise in proper perspective, not as a chore but as a holy and worship filled act. Here is one way to look at health in a proper mindset.
"Think of exercise as medication. Studies show that exercise decreases the risk of depression as well as the need for an antidepressant. Thirty minutes of daily walking has been shown to decrease the risk of breast cancer by 30 percent and increase the rate of survival by 70 percent. It also improves the survival rates of heart attack victims by 80 percent."
--Dr. Mehmet C. Oz M.D. Director of the Cardiovascular Institute and Integrated Medical Center, New York Presbyterian-Columbia University.
"The preservation of health is a duty. Few seem conscious that there is such a think as physical morality."
--Herbert Spencer
